My 6th day in the land of the rising sun is coming to an end. The past few days I’ve been to Sado, an island 2-3 hours away by boat from Niigata, where I’ve done a bunch of sightseeing, eaten humongously good food, seen incrediblyous (have you adapted this word yet?) nature and actually talked to/with Japanese people with the strongly limited Nihongian vocabulary that I yield. Yesterday was arrival day, and not much more other than that. We went out for cake and coffee at a cake shop, browsed some nearby shops, and then I went home to unejtlag myself. I slept for 14 hours.
As my days of freelance web development pass by, I sometimes take a peek back at satf. Like when I a couple of days ago realised, with the help of my basic Japanese knowledge, that the ‘t’ and the ‘f’ in the satf logo really looks like the Japanese character せ (se).
I did some experiments in Illustrator and this was the result:
