After having this blog for one and a half years, I still haven’t gotten into the routine of writing. The flow just isn’t there. Something which you can easily tell by this totally cliché sorry-I-haven’t-posted-in-a-while post after exactly two months silence.

Yeah, this is one of those posts. And here is an equally cliché excuse: I’ve been busy working, school, commuting and the little free time I have after that, which isn’t much, nothing much. And after these 1½ months of hard studying, I feel like I really deserve a vacation. Subsequently three days left, and I’m off to Japan.

I’ve been laying some groundwork plans since I bought the tickets some months ago, and I have planned to at least say konnichiwa to one (1) genuine(!) japanese(!!), eat bundles of sushi, stay one night at the Park Hyatt (the famous lost in translation-hotel), Karaoke, visiting the beer museum and a lot more. My sister and mom will be joining me the first 2½ weeks, then they’ll split and a friend will fly up to fill in the time left. It is going to be completely awesome.

And there’s more: I have a promise to you: I am actually going to post more when I’m on vacation than I usually do. I will also be twittering, flickring, facebooking and then a little blogging again. I’ve recently acquired an iphone, so I will probably twitter all too much.

On a slightly less sophisticated note:  I wonder why I bought (Sweden rare) Japanese beer a couple of days ago when I’m going to be surrounded with it for a month (surrounded, I say). My mind works in mysterious ways, which is also why I’m categorizing this post in “Creativity”.
