As my days of freelance web development pass by, I sometimes take a peek back at satf. Like when I a couple of days ago realised, with the help of my basic Japanese knowledge, that the ‘t’ and the ‘f’ in the satf logo really looks like the Japanese character せ (se).

I did some experiments in Illustrator and this was the result:

It is satf, it is sase, and finally becomes satfse. Could it be more thought out? I’m starting to think my brain was conspiring against me when I made the logo. Oh Brain you, you should’ve told me from the start!
